Along with daily announcements, students are being motivated to come to school every day to be able to participate in the monthly drawing. Go Cougars! AESD has accepted "The Great Kindness Challenge" Posted On: Wednesday, January 22, 2020 During the week of January 27 - 31, 2020, Adelanto Elementary School District will be participating in the national Great Kindness Challenge. Our students will be joining students from 27,010 other schools throughout California and the United States to show the world that KINDNESS MATTERS! We provided materials, computer access for research and printers. The parents had a memorable time as they worked together to assist their children with their projects. We rang in 2020 with a PBIS workshop followed by a Universal Design for Learning (UDL) training. Our teachers are starting the new year strong and ready to support our students. They will be learning new ways to engage students and ensure they are reaching the whole child. Every classroom performed a song or dance such as Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer, the 12 days of Christmas (with a twist), Santa Shark, and El Burrito Sabanero to name a few. The performance was enjoyed by the parents and the memories will last a lifetime.
